Tasty Temptations to Eat and Drink

Breakfast, Lunch and Evening menus

Whether it’s a hot drink and a fresh pastry to take away on your way to work, a tempting slice of cake, a quick ‘ooh that’s good’ lunch, an evening sharing plate or a draught premium pint, you’ll be served, as long as you’re polite, with a fresh tasty temptation.

From 12 Noon until closing, there’s a range of eight draught offerings, an excellent variety of carefully selected wines, along with spirits, and at the weekend, cocktails and shots.

Tea & Coffee – Take a seat or Take-Away

A selection of fresh teas, selected by one of Yorkshire’s fussiest tea drinkers; Beverly, including delicious fruit teas. The range of coffee is chosen by Adam the coffee snob. There’s also a good choice of soft drinks, fruit juices and water to satisfy your thirst

Food And Drink

The ethos of the food menu is to provide simple, tasty, freshly made food that you can appreciate. Sourced locally, always fresh and always with quality as the starting point.

Our food is available from opening until 9 pm each day. The menu changes to suit the time of day, what’s available from our select suppliers and of course what we feel like offering on the day. It also includes a takeaway food menu. All our takeaway packaging is compostable or recyclable.

Customers are advised to note that our takeaway menu differs slightly from our other menus, including the times offered after lunch. This is because of the nature of how some food is served and because we treat our colleagues as we would like to be treated ourselves, so they don’t work ridiculously long hours.

Breakfast – Eat-In or Take-Away

From fresh pastries baked that morning or breakfast rolls with locally sourced sausages (Double of course) or Thick Triple Bacon Medallions, there’s always a good selection to choose from so you’ll be set up for a great start to your day.

Lunch – Eat In & Take-Away Options

Our lunch offerings range from a bread roll with a “Tasty Chunk of Ham off the Bone” served with a choice relish to ensure a tasty and satisfying experience, through to hot foods such as freshly baked jacket potato’s with a choice of fillings. There’s also a range of pizza’s. Add to this, our daily specials which are seasonally based.

Cake and Desserts – Of course

Daily options of the fresh and delicious variety. If you go to our ‘What’s On’ page, you’ll also see when we offer ‘Afternoon Tea’. Some may say “it’s reet posh” but others will describe it as “ooh that was nice”.

Evening Food – Eat In Only (served until 9 pm)

The evening options are simple, honest, and of course, fresh. You can choose from a variety that includes pizza’s and sharing plates to savoury and delicious sausage or veggie rolls along with Cornish Pasties.

Fully Licensed Bar

From Noon every day, you can choose from a range of draught beer, ales, lagers, ciders and Irish Guinness served as it should be. Or sample the wines picked by our resident wine snob.

A wide selection of spirits and shots is also on offer. At weekends, you may also choose a cocktail. ‘House Specials’ are also offered on rare occasions if we like you.
